Marguerite’s philosophy of education is what she knows to be true in her heart and what is supported by research: when treated with respect and having confidence in their abilities, students grasp the material being taught much more readily. Mrs. Izzo believes that the most productive relationship between a student and a teacher must be open, honest, and respectful. Teachers must see themselves as the chief learner in the classroom, modeling curiosity and perseverance.
