Linda’s philosophy of teaching is that she teaches students much more than music; students are learning about themselves. They are gaining expertise in responsibility, perseverance, independence and teamwork, problem solving, leadership and cooperation…..all areas that will help them negotiate successfully through the rest of their lives. She likes to describe what she does as teaching social studies, art, science, drama, geography, language arts and math through music. Linda believes teaching music involves all aspects of the school and classroom.
